LONDON'S GARDENS – MARC'S FAVOURITE GARDENS

Marc Owen writes about some of his favourite MPGA London gardens.

Marc Owen, our loyal blogger since 2014, has written regular blogs on some of London's most interesting gardens with which the MPGA has been involved. His recommendations have tempted people to discover some of these, as well as lesser known parks and gardens in the capital.

Marc is an accomplished gardener in his own right and runs a garden contracting company. In spite of his heavy workload, he has also found time to study for an MA in Garden and Landscape History at London University. His blogs are original, interesting, well informed and accompanied by some brilliant photographs.

In the last two years, due to Covid, he has not been able to get out and about. However, recently he was able to visit Christchurch Gardens, Blackfriars and the Museum of the Home in Shoreditch. Both gardens were originally designed for the MPGA by Fanny Wilkinson.

All Marc's MPGA blogs are featured here on our website, but he also publishes another blog, in which he writes on various topics and raises some interesting questions for fellow horticulturalists.
